Gormak the Soaring

When Mordruuk disappeared, leaving the observatory gate unprotected, the shamans found themselves in despair. They did not dare to approach the cursed place, but they could not allow the darkness to spread further.
And the magic of the Abyss did not wait. She clung to the living like a disease. And her first victim was Gormak the Soaring — one of the demons patrolling the vicinity of the observatory.
At first, the changes were barely noticeable: his skin was covered with purple veins, like the roots of darkness. Then the power began to flow in his veins, distorting the flesh. When the relatives noticed this, they attacked him, but Gormak managed to fight back and escape.
Running had saved his mind, but not his body. Every day the Abyss reshaped him: blades sharp as night appeared on his hands, his body turned into a translucent shadow, and his eyes lit up with a cold purple flame. He was no longer a demon, but something else.
At first, he helped his former brothers in arms — rescued them from ambushes, led them out of traps. But when the shamans finally sealed the observatory, Gormak realized his purpose and stood up for the observatory. Not out of loyalty to Kagrohan, not out of fear. But because he knows that something worse than death is hidden inside. And anyone who tries to open the observatory will find out what the blades forged by the Abyss itself are capable of.
